Papel Picado is Mexican folk art that is done by cutting elaborate designs into tissue paper. These are chained together usually and hung during holidays and on ofrendas or altars. For this guitar, we wanted to reflect that folk art, and also added an outline of the flag of Mexico on the back in gold pearl.
