Japan has always been a special place for me. Well over 30 trips there since my days at Charvel, Yamaha, and Fender has brought many great memories for me for not only the country, but the people as well. One of those individuals was Dave Kurihara who worked with me at Fender. We made many trips throughout Japan and the back alleys full of noodle shops, bars, karaoke, and of course music stores. This guitar is a tribute to not only Japan, but also to my friend Dave. The coins on the sides were brought back from my last trip many years ago. Guitar is Dakota Red with custom hand-painted graphics.
